Digital Citizenship Center (DCC) is the result of a new concept of smartcities in which technologies are used to improve the life of communities. It is a pioneering initiative, aimed at developing a digital ecosystem in Valongo, with sense of promoting training for the use of technology in the development of social projects, in the promotion of communities, as a form of inclusion and social and digital innovation, promoting construction and the exercise of a more active and participatory citizenship.
This center has had a great impact on the town of Valongo and has promoted more than 99 initiatives, which have helped improve the living conditions of its inhabitants through an approach of participation and collaboration between different community actors.
GIOVANI2030 was born with the mission of building a better future for young people, in accordance with the need to help them find inspiration, guidance and motivation to improve their professional and personal skills in a friendly digital environment that provides them with information and useful instruments for their development. GIOVANI2030 is the digital home created by the Department for Youth Policies and Universal Civil Service specifically for those looking for new tools and new challenges to grow and find their own path.
It is a portal where young people can find links on different interests always open and continuously updated focused on the following issues: Volunteering, Training, Education, Culture, Benefits and Incentives, National, European and International Initiatives.
